Malawian Emily Sikazwe Sellout?

Emily Sikazwe

Former director for Women for Change Emily Sikazwe once stood tall for the people. She showed the world that she was a woman of substance. That she could neither bend nor sink low into mediocrity.

Her position now is questionable. Her alignment to Lungu and PF mess is not only alarming but also an act of betrayal to the masses who looked up to her. She was once a pillar of justice. But all that is eroded. Her moral fiber lost and now moves with a disgraced PF regime.

Ms. Sikazwe failed to stand for the people as a credible commissioner during the management of the August 2016 general elections. She saw wrong and decided to side with Chulu and imposed PF. This is sad. It is now clear that her alignment to Lungu is not only by tribe but by origin too.

Ms. Sikazwe now commissioner at ECZ hails from Malawi; Edgar Lungu himself, hails from Malawi and has no village in Eastern province; RB is born in Zimbabwe but actually hails from Malawi; corrupt Secretary to the cabinet Roland Msiska, hails from Malawi (no wonder he’s still on the job despite being Sata’s appointee); Professor Elwin Mwenechanya Chomba, (permanent secretary Ministry of Home Affairs) hails from Malawi; Professor Jorry Mwenechanya (young brother to Elwin Chomba and now Chairman of the Rural Electrification Board) hails from Malawi; Dr. Musa Mwenechanya (son of Prof. Jorry Mwenechanya, and new head of the new paediatrics Hospital in UTH) hails from Malawi;  so in short the Rupiah Banda influence on drunken Edgar Chagwa Lungu to appoint most former or current Malawians into the Zambian government is a very clear drive. Most of these former Malawians are now railing the realms of power and have literally hijacked the Zambian governance system.

The Zambian Watchdog shall further pull off the key personnel in government who are Malawians by origin and show how the RB and or Lungu factor is playing out on Malawians appointments in the Zambian government.

So the conscious decisions made by Emily Sikazwe over the elections were biased and bent on supporting a fellow former Malawian and not based on integrity.

So Emily Sikazwe is no longer a strong woman of moral fiber but has become an eroded, unreliable, selfish and myopic character. Her once high standing is crumbled to the ground. Emily Sikazwe is a sellout and has betrayed the majority of Zambians who looked up to her.

It s unfortunate that the people who call others tribalist, are hypocrites. They themselves are real tribalist.

Unlike Chiefs from other regions, the Eastern Chiefs have responded to this nonsense in very clear terms. One would have hoped other Chiefs would have also reprimanded their subjects when they spewed nonsense and all the mess we are in now would have been avoided. But do not add your stuff ba Watchdog – did Senior Chief Nzamane refer to the President in his reprimand of Edwin Sakala?
