Police Detain Tanzanian who shared cell with HH.

Petty PF Police are holding a Tanzanian national Jeff Abdul who shared a cell with incarcerated President Hakainde Hichilema at Chimbokaila.

Mr Abdul is believed to have served his sentence in full and was on his way to his native Country Tanzania when Police picked him up for questioning. Sources disclosed that Police are interested on what Mr Hichilema was discussing with Mr Abdul and have refused to release him until he reveals.

Other sources believe this is a ploy by the PF to implicate Mr Hichilema inorder to detain him for a longer period under the powers of the State of Emergency.

By press time the Tanzanian Embassy in Lusaka had not responded to a press enquiry as to whether they were aware of the detention of their citizen who it is believed is being held at Ridgeway Police Station.
