No New Schedule implemented – ZESCO Blacking OUT the Nation by stealth.

Editor’s choice

In their usual one foot to act motion and mere indicator of total exposure of how not to manage, the ZESCO LTD Management, under the leadership of the PF Chief Cadre and thieving MD Mr. Victor Mundende, have proceeded to implement a new LOAD SHEDDING timetable without updating the same for September 2019 on their website as of 2nd September 2019.

Incompetence is exposed in several ways, one of them is mere failure to adequately publicise such as, an important activity that shall affect close to over 6 million people without shame. ZESCO Management is fast asleep, as it soon gets the rightful moto to describe its true actions, “ZESCO Darkening the Nation”.

Meanwhile ZESCO is celebrating the one-million-mark customer attainment. If it were to be a correct footage, ZESCO should instead, have been apologizing for failing to provide over 50% access to electricity by today. At almost 6 people on average per household and with a population of 17 Million, simple mental maths show that access may well be just about 35%, but we wait to hear what CSO shall declare as official access to electricity if they are funded to conduct a census.

So ZESCO would you please update your website for Zambians’ sake, it’s a simple thing to do but mean a lot to the 1 million you are celebrating for increasing their dark hours. The suffering being endured under the current regime is bad enough, could you as technocrats at least do your part to ease the already messed up economy.

It s unfortunate that the people who call others tribalist, are hypocrites. They themselves are real tribalist.

Unlike Chiefs from other regions, the Eastern Chiefs have responded to this nonsense in very clear terms. One would have hoped other Chiefs would have also reprimanded their subjects when they spewed nonsense and all the mess we are in now would have been avoided. But do not add your stuff ba Watchdog – did Senior Chief Nzamane refer to the President in his reprimand of Edwin Sakala?
