Clear shots have been fired towards the desire to close the Copperbelt Energy Company (CEC). The Snake Eating Dictator (SED) Edgar Chagwa Lungu is seeking to have CEC shut down further compounding the already embattled energy sector as regards load shedding and financially strained ZESCO Ltd. status in Zambia.

Lungu’s selfish instincts kicked in tandem with the clean rags to riches personality that describes him well. ECL rarely does anything that genuinely promotes the country. As has been noted mostly, his maneavours are all bent on self-centeredness and self-gratification first, before the national issues.

The CEC is the end resultant of the original Copperbelt Power Division of the demised ZCCM. Based on the assumption that CEC makes a lot of money and taking advantage of the ending Bulk Supply Agreement between ZESCO & CEC, the Government Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the ZESCO MD, Chief PF cadre Victor Mundende, seek to shut down this once well run towering power company.

This year, the Snake Eating Dictator shut down KCM. In a dramatised style shut down, the presidential aides swarmed the Copperbelt province of Zambia, all to ensure that KCM was rendered inoperative. The closure ceremony for KCM, dressed with Police and PF cadres brandishing guns and blowing hot oppressive air performed ON BEHALF of ECL as most dictators would do.

Now he is determined to shut down CEC. When he first came into power he closed the post, then he closed KCM now in line are CEC, then Horizon School.

That’s the Snake Eating Dictator, self-imposed president, Edgar Chagwa Jonathan Mutaware Lungu.

Under his leadership Political Violence has escalated, Corruption has reached alarming thresholds, mealie meal is above K160 per 25Kg bag, Fuel has hit record high levels at K15.98 per litre, the Zambian Kwacha has hit the worst weakness point ever in the history of Zambia at K16 per Dollar, medicines in the hospitals are but just a flavour of the past.

Cry mother Zambia.
