Setting up a commission of inquiry on gassing is mocking the Zambian people.

The terrorists have been apprehended by the police and it is now very clear that those involved are mainly patriotic front members and its agents. What the nation now expects to see is firm actions from president Lungu as regards involved of whom some have been mentioned by the suspects.
It is regrettable that no court proceedings have ever taken place leading the nation to conclude that the state is involved in this act of criminality. Therefore, what president Lungu is proposing is like setting an inquiry for serial killers after the police have apprehended some culprits and information is available identifying who exactly was involved.
The nation can not continue to follow politics of trickery, reading and overriding the minds of the people. It is now almost certain that PF politicians were behind the gassing of the the citizens and the motive was to implicate another of their fellow citizens Hakainde Hichilema. The not so bright barbaric exercise and criminality was meant to disqualify him from contesting the 2021 general election and this is very clear from how the PF surrogates perpetuated this propaganda.
Now president Lungu directs that a commission of inquiry may be set up to get to the bottom of this which is tantamount to fooling the people of Zambia. Why is president Lungu hiding behind his finger on this matter?
Zambians have been complaining of how the police and government have been withholding information on the gassing of people. Now that the people who were coordinating this scheme are in custody and it has been established that they belong to president Lungu’s party, the people who used propaganda against the UPND must be condemned. Most of these people are close to president Lungu. This then begs the question, what was the bounty for which he pledged when his people falsely telling Zambians who was behind the gassing attacks.
It is now clear that this was a state operation and setting a commission of inquiry is a wastage of tax payers money, and another scam to put this issue to rest by PF. This crime against humanity will not and should not be allowed to die like this. The culprits must be brought to book and their names made public.

It s unfortunate that the people who call others tribalist, are hypocrites. They themselves are real tribalist.

Unlike Chiefs from other regions, the Eastern Chiefs have responded to this nonsense in very clear terms. One would have hoped other Chiefs would have also reprimanded their subjects when they spewed nonsense and all the mess we are in now would have been avoided. But do not add your stuff ba Watchdog – did Senior Chief Nzamane refer to the President in his reprimand of Edwin Sakala?
