ECL Seeks to arrest HH on any Case to Eliminate Him

By Richard Aaron Ngoma

Various government sources reveal that President Edgar Lungu is not exactly delighted at FDD President Edith Nawakwi’s blistering style at attacking UPND President Hakainde Hichilema on matters whose evidence is contrary to her claims. Impeccable sources reveal that upon Hichilema’s impromptu direct response to Nawakwi on a Hot FM live phone in program, where Hichilema disproved her claims over the purchase of a house in Kabulonga’s Serval Road, proceeds from RAMCOZ and Southern Sun, Mr Lungu scrambled his own systems to verify Hichilema’s new revelations.

It was established that the UPND President was right in his assertions that Nawakwi was lying. The controversial FDD leader had claimed that Hichilema had dubiously bought a house whose owners Lima Bank were in the privatization tranche, that he was in charge of, and that he had therefore taken undue advantage of his position as consultants of government by selling the house to himself. However, Hichilema revealed that he had actually bought the house through an open tender bidding from Tobacco Board of Zambia a full two years before privatization, and that he was never in charge of privatization of TBZ.

Mr Lungu was further briefed that the issues of RAMCOZ and Livingstone Intercontinental Hotel were equally falsified by Nawakwi and that Hichilema was innocent on both matters as well.

The sources say that the initial arrangement between Lungu and Nawakwi was that the latter would stick to the narratives that Hichilema had sold the mines, than deal on specifics. The sources further stated that the system has advised President Lungu that the whole scheme has backfired but that Nawakwi should continue with the narrative without backing down, until they find other means to deal with Hichilema including killing him.

As this case brings so much embarrassment on the Lungu regime, he now seeks to drag police through Kanganja into this dirty scheme. The scheme is to arrest HH and then lace him with poison so he can be eliminated from the 2021 ballot. Sadly some lawyers also be perpetrators have adivised ECL that if the litigant is eliminated, then the case shall fall off.

It s unfortunate that the people who call others tribalist, are hypocrites. They themselves are real tribalist.

Unlike Chiefs from other regions, the Eastern Chiefs have responded to this nonsense in very clear terms. One would have hoped other Chiefs would have also reprimanded their subjects when they spewed nonsense and all the mess we are in now would have been avoided. But do not add your stuff ba Watchdog – did Senior Chief Nzamane refer to the President in his reprimand of Edwin Sakala?
